Snowdrops, formerly known as Be Unique Boutique, blossomed from Shery Taljaard's inspiration in September 2015 while planning her own wedding. Recognizing the lack of bridal boutiques in Paarl and the steep prices at nearby stores, Shery decided to create a solution.With a "what if" mindset, she sourced dresses from a business that had closed down and opened her small shop. Snowdrops quickly became known for offering stunning dresses at affordable prices.
In September 2016, I, Lelanie Strydom, joined the team, initially assisting brides during fittings and gradually learning the ropes. As we expanded, we moved to a larger space in January 2017, where we've been thriving ever since.
Come March 2017, I took over the reins from Shery, and I've been running the boutique, helping women discover their perfect gown for special occasions. Despite challenges, we've evolved into the beautiful establishment we are today, with the hope of assisting ladies in finding their dream dresses for many more years to come.
Back in 2018, I stumbled upon the fantastic Charlene, and ever since, it's been a whirlwind of fabulous photoshoots, lively events, and exciting adventures. Together, we've turned moments into memories, and our journey continues to be a delightful blend of creativity and camaraderie.
